michael kors runway collection haven’t been memorable in AGES but there was this one collection where two models - one of them, carmen kass - stepped out to new order’s “bizarre love triangle”…it was one of the more interesting responses from Fall 2009 to the Recession: it grasped for optimism but remained largely quite grim and reactionary at the base of it…as if kors were imagining a luxurious depression with pops of bright neon color that were less joyous and more chemically-concocted

weeks later miuccia and co. would narrate another response, this time more apocalyptic, in which clothing is the armor that protects people from the economic wreckage and austerity facing urban, industrialized centers like those that make fashion’s principal capitals…miuccia’s response was to turn to the wilderness, or more precisely, to turn business and cocktail attire towards the wilderness - feminine 6pm dresses became gladiator frocks, while business suits were re-articulated in tough leather

the clothes were about durability, protection and at times aggression, strongly contrasting the sculptural fragility and sensual openness of the clothes from the prior spring collection

i heard u guys like carpeted bathrooms so i made a whole post of carpeted bathrooms.

catch me scooting around on the ceiling of the pink one and reaching down to zap people

I’m a fan of the neon moss toilet and the bathroom made entirely of the lumpy yellow chenille blanket that my aunt crocheted before they got the dosage right on her Adderall.
